Books to help you learn the Fertility Awareness Method
Taking Charge of your Fertility - The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control and Pregnancy Achievement by Toni Weschler, MPH
So far the best most complete book I have seen on fertility awareness and how it can be modified to suit your needs. It is a book for every woman who is interested in how her body works and the changes we go through each cycle. How to use signals our bodies give us to avoid or achieve pregnancy. Information on using fertility awareness during menopause, sex selection of the baby, infertility for both men and women, and much more. I just got a copy and am very pleased.
Your Fertility Signals - Using them to Achieve or Avoid Pregnancy, Naturally. by Merryl Winstein
Another excellent book to help you learn the ins and outs of your fertility cycle. There are lots of good diagrams, the book is well written, easy to read and use. It has sections on fertility signals, coming off the pill, Lunaception, choosing your baby's sex, menopause, hormones, vaginal infections and Infertility. How to find a natural family planning instructor, and how to do your own charts, plus more. It is a very comprehensive book.
A Co-operative Method of Natural Birth Control by Margaret Nofziger
This book is really great to help you learn about fertility awareness, and natural birth control. The basal thermometer, mucus observation, fertility lenses and other fertility signals. It was one of my main educational sources when I was learning the techniques.
